Who This Article Is For & What You’ll Learn
If you’re planning a magical Tokyo DisneySea trip and want to know whether the Fantasy Springs Hotel is worth it, this guide is for you. As a family who has stayed here twice—once in October 2024 and again in March 2025—we’ll share not only facts but also our personal tips, impressions, and lessons learned. You’ll discover how to make the most of its location, exclusive perks, and thoughtful amenities so you can plan a stress-free, unforgettable stay.
Fantasy Springs Hotel Overview
- Location: Directly in front of the Disney Resort Line station, with a private entrance to the Fantasy Springs area of Tokyo DisneySea.
- Theme & Room Design: Elegant décor inspired by purple wisteria, with a calm, refined atmosphere—less character-heavy than other Disney hotels.
- Perks: 15-minute early entry (Happy Entry) and access to exclusive restaurant reservations for hotel guests.
- Views: From the lobby balcony, you can see the entire Fantasy Springs area. The courtyard is themed after Beauty and the Beast.
Day 1 – The Arrival & Pre-Stay

PM2:00 – Arrival & Ikspiari Stop
We arrived at Maihama Station at 2:00 PM, checked in at the Welcome Center, and dropped off our luggage. At Ikspiari, we picked up breakfast items and snacks for the next day.
(See our Maihama Welcome Center tips for details.)
Buying a limited-edition Disney Resort Line free pass (with date and seasonal design) turned out to be one of our best tips—it made hopping between the hotel, parks, and Ikspiari effortless, and our daughter still keeps her Duffy & Friends pass inside her phone case as a travel keepsake.

PM3:00 – Arrive at Fantasy Springs Hotel
If you’ve already completed online check-in at the Welcome Center, your room key will appear in the app at 3:00 PM, so there’s no need to line up at the front desk.
Upon arrival, we explored the lobby, courtyard, and balcony. The hotel’s interior is themed with elegant and charming purple wisteria motifs—our daughter’s favorite color—so she was especially delighted. From the lobby, you can step out onto the balcony for views of both the park and the Grand Chateau. We stayed in a standard room rather than the Grand Chateau, but the experience was still magical.

We then strolled through the courtyard, which felt peaceful despite being just steps from the excitement of the park. This serene space was perfect for taking in the beauty of the landscaping and snapping a few family photos.
Our room was bright, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. The gallery of room photos shows the plush bedding, convenient seating area with two chairs and a table—ideal for enjoying the snacks we’d picked up earlier—and small details that made the stay extra comfortable.
Day 2 – DisneySea with Happy Entry

The next morning, we entered through the hotel’s exclusive guest gate, which leads directly into the Fantasy Springs area. We reached the private gate 30 minutes before Happy Entry time, which you can confirm on your in-room TV. Once inside:

Experiencing the Fantasy Springs area with so few people is a perk you can only enjoy when entering with Happy Entry.
💡 How We Spent Time Before General Admission
- Reserved a “Believe! Sea of Dreams” DPA with a prime volcano-front spot.
- Secured a standby pass for Tinker Bell’s Busy Buggies.
- Took photos in the quiet streets of Arendelle before the park opened to the general public.
- Rode Peter Pan’s Never Land Adventure (virtually no wait) and then Indiana Jones Adventure (while our daughter browsed a Duffy & Friends shop).
💡 Our daughter’s ride ranking at age 10 within the Fantasy Springs area attractions:
1) Peter Pan, 2) Frozen, 3) Tinker Bell, 4) Rapunzel. We agreed completely.

For lunch, we used the hotel’s reservation perk to dine at Magellan’s. Although Magellan’s is one of the most popular restaurants in DisneySea, we could easily secure a table thanks to the exclusive booking window for Disney hotel guests, separate from general reservations. Booking opens exactly one month before your visit at 9:00 AM, and if you log in right on time, you can usually get a table—though even a 5-minute delay means the best time slots will start disappearing fast.
We were lucky enough to be seated in the secret room—a thrill for our whole family. Having dined at nearly every restaurant in DisneySea, we can confidently say this was the most delicious meal in the park, making it worth every yen.
By mid-afternoon, we transferred to the Toy Story Hotel for our second night. The FS side gate made the walk quick and easy. Thanks to the TV-based luggage transfer system, our bags were waiting in the room with zero effort.
